Creating a New Client/Policy

To create a new client, click on the "New Client" button on the Dashboard, under "Getting Started."

  • Click , a new screen will appear.
  • Enter the New Client's information. This includes:
    • Select Policy Type (whether it is Personal or Commercial)
    • Enter:  First/ Middle and Last/ Suffix name.

*A DBA (Doing Business As) name may be entered if "Commercial" is selected as the policy Type.

  • Enter/Select from drop-down:
    • Status
      • The "Status" field updates automatically when the client is saved. This is based on the quotes and policies under the client:

        • Prospect: The client has either no quotes/policies or only quotes.
        • Active: The client has at least one active policy.
        • Expired: The client has no active policies, but at least one expired policy.
    • Source 
    • Date of Birth 
    • SSN
    • Address 
    • Contact information
      •  (phone numbers and email address).

*If more than one client needs to be added to the file/policy, you can use the "Additional Insured" field on the bottom-right.

    • Once  is selected in Addition Insureds:
    • A New Additional Insured pop-up will appear
      • Enter Additional Insureds information in specified fields
      • When done adding Additional Insured, click .


  • When done entering general Client Information:
    • To save the new client, click   (bottom left). 
      or 
    • To save and enter policy, click  under  (top middle)

 

 

  • If  is selected, a New Policy pop-up will appear:
    • Click desired Line of Business
    • When done, click .

  • In New Auto Policy pop-up:
    • Agent is able to enter/select Policy and Coverage information.
    • To navigate through, click .
    • Once Next is click, below pop-up will appear:

 


    • You may select Yes to add additional Drivers and Vehicle information or NO, not to.

 

 

  • If Yes is selected, the Driver tab will be highlighted for Drivers info.
    • Driver Details:
      • Enter detailed driver info
    • Violations:
      • To manually add violations, click 
      • Driver Violation pop-up will appear.
      • Select violation and click Accept when done. 
  • To proceed to Vehicle information, Click .
    • Vehicle Details:
      • You can enter VIN and click magnifying glass or press Enter key.
         or
      • You can manually enter vehicle Year, Make, and Model.
    • Coverage Premium:
      • Coverage limit premiums may be entered.
    • Vehicle Addressed:
      • A Garaging and/or Loss Payee can be entered.
    • When done, click .

*A new Policy will be created!
