- When working on a quote, you might notice that some fields might become gray and get "locked out," unable to be edited . This will usually happen after trying to rate or trying to run a credit report. This will block fields such as the client's address full address, Social Security Number, and date of birth. When this occurs, you can do the following:

 | 2. You should be able to see an Unlock Credit button at the bottom, at the right end of the button bar. This button will appear after any company has tried to run credit on the client. Click on the button. | |
 | 3. After clicking on the button, the Unlock Credit window should open, asking you if you want to reset the credit score(s). Clicking yes will reset credit, and will also unlock the fields mentioned above for editing. | |
