New Policy

Clicking on or while in the Search screen or in Client Management will prompt the window to the right. Clicking on Create or Create in new tab will take you to the Policy Management section where you can enter in the policy specifics.

After creating a new policy, the next step is data entry. Depending on the line of business, there are a few differences in the policy fields available. For this example we'll use personal auto policy.

Working your way down the left hand side column, you'll cover all the options needed to enter in policy data, generate invoices, post payments, add attachments to a policy, print Acord forms, and add notes.

Clicking the  symbol will allow you to quickly add information or generate a new item for that section.

  • Policy Info - Gives you the basic policy info and summary, including policy #, carrier, line of business, premium, and an overview of coverages.

  • Drivers - The management system does not have a limit on drivers/vehicles, each driver will appear in a list on the left. The list is collapsible by
clicking on the Driver's section again.

  • Vehicles - Vehicle data is entered here along with any vehicle specific coverages and premiums. Note: While we have an extensive Year/Make/Model
list, vehicles made prior to 1981 may not have standardized VIN's and have to be entered manually. VIN lookup is only available with Rater product enabled.

  • Coverages - Using the Coverage section allows you to enter in any coverages including any custom coverages you would like to add. Click on New
Coverage and enter the name and value of your coverage to add it.

  • Premium - The Premium section is used to set or update producer information, see endorsements, and commissions.

  • Invoices, Payments, Attachments, and Notes are also accessible on the left.
  • Printed Items will show you previously printed Acord forms. More about Acord forms and how Printed Items work Here.
  • History will show a printable "paper trail" of all changes to a client or policy with a timestamp and name of the user that made the change.
